In 2013 a dear friend of mine told me about his neighbours intention to put their properties on the market. You can imagine my excitement… three beautifully renovated stone houses located in the heart of a village built in the Middle Age.
Mirmande is a very special place… the village is built on the side of a hill, hence it has the title “Village Perché”. It is also a “Commune Fleurie”, so lots of beautiful flowers and trees, and finally, Mirmande has the official title “One of the most beautiful villages in France”.

Time passed by, and with a bit of luck, I was soon “living the dream” amongst a wonderful group people so warm and welcoming.
“Mes petites maisons”, are completely independent and at the same time can be joined by the interior courtyard. This is so practical when family and friends come to stay as they can chose to be completely private or join in the activities via the courtyard. Needless to say, many happy times have been shared.
The houses are named “Bluebird”, “La Maison de Juliette” and “La Tour du Bagnard”. The previous owner operated a Bed and Breakfast at Juliette, so you may already be familiar with that name. Now, over a short period in summer, it’s possible to rent La Tour du Bagnard for your holiday in Mirmande.
