“Paradise found in Mirmande, France!!”
Our stay at Lynda’s and Jean Louis’ beautiful villa in the village of Mirmande was without doubt the highlight of our September 2015 French holiday. Mirmande is steeped in history and culture, set in the stunning Rhone Valley, ideal for a quiet, relaxing, romantic holiday. A maze of cobbled streets and lanes, dotted with original stone villas and cottages. Add a few restaurants serving traditional French and modern cuisine that use fresh local produce, a bakery, cafe, galleries and even a petanque (bocce) court to test your skills against talented locals. For more challenging activities, walk the surrounding trails or take your bike, The valley offers something for all levels of riders. When you are finished, enjoy the creature comforts of one of Lynda’s and Jean Louis’ villas – amazing! They will even organise day trips and a hamper for you. The local cheese, bread and wine is to die for. Already planning our next stay.”

“The absolute highlight of our trip”
This really is the most beautiful village in France. We stayed in Maison Juliette and it was everything we thought it would be and more. So delightful and comfortable with stunning view from the balcony.
Our hosts Linda and Jean Louis made us feel part of village life. Morning walks, picking cherries from the trees and taking in the sights of the cobblestone walkways through the village.
Unforgettable.
They provided information on events etc., that were happening in the local area.
The visit to The Caverne du Pont D’Arc was amazing, have never seen anything quite like it before.
If you are dreaming of getting away from it all and back to a simpler way of life, do yourself a favour and go stay in one of their houses you will never regret it.
Would most definitely go back, but would stay for much longer it was a very special place.
